The personnel from DepEd Comval spearheads the National School Maintenance Week, better known to many as Brigada Eskwela.The kick off activity started at Cabinuangan Central Elementary School Campus last May 24 with a caravan/motorcade.

The Professional Regulation Commission and Board of Professional Teachers announces the release of 4,835 new Elementary School Teachers out of 31,306 or 15.44%, and 6,483 Secondary School Teachers out of 27,802 or 23.32% for successfully passing the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) issued last April 18, 2010.

Davao City (22 December) — A production number ‘Pasko ni Darna’ was performed by the Special Program in the Arts students of Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School. Two songs were rendered by Governor Arturo’ Chiongkee’ Uy. An inspiring Christmas message was delivered by DepED Region XI Director Susana Teresa B. Estigoy.

Comval’s Department of Education (DepEd-Comval) was recently commended following the success to its Human Resource Implementation System (HRIS) under the Basic Education Assistance for Mindanao (BEAM) project. For its excellent performance, DepEd Comval will be the BEAM pilot project in the entire country.
